ABOUT THE WRITER
I'm Aditya K
Tendering practitioner writing about Indian government procurement so any business can understand it.

MY STORY
How I Ended Up Writing About Government Tenders
I started working in government tendering at 18 — not because I planned to, but because I was thrown in the deep end. No textbook, no course. Just real NIT documents, real portals and a lot of trial and error.
“I've read hundreds of NIT documents. I know exactly what gets a bid rejected — and what makes it win. Most businesses never learn this because nobody teaches it plainly. That's what BidToBiz is for.”
Over 3+ years I’ve handled bids across GeM, CPPP and state eProcurement portals. I’ve seen enterprises with great products lose tenders because of a formatting error. The problem is almost never capability — it’s always information.
BidToBiz is my attempt to fix that information gap. Everything here is free — no paid course, no upsell, no paywall. Just clean articles about how Indian government procurement works, written by someone who’s been inside it.
TIMELINE
Started at 18 on real portals with no guide. Learned everything on GeM and state eProcurement the hard way.
Managed bids across sectors — construction, IT, supplies, services. Built a system for fast NIT reading.
Added ISO, GMP and certification knowledge. Tendering and compliance are inseparable for enterprises going after larger contracts.
Started documenting everything publicly — YouTube, LinkedIn and this blog. Goal: make govt procurement accessible to every Indian business.
